Enrichment@Bentley is a before school, extra-curricular extension program for selected students in Prep, Year 1 and Year 2.
TechExpress
TechExpress is a one-to-one laptop program for students in Year 3 to Year 6. There is one TechExpress class per year level.
Aspire Program
The Aspire Program is one-to-one laptop program for students in Year 7 to Year 9. It offers academic enrichment across the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Humanities. There are two Aspire Program classes per year level.
Aspire Transition Program
The Bentley's Best Academia Aspire Transition Program is designed to accelerate academic growth in high-potential Year 6 students from Bentley Park College and local feeder schools, and also assist them to have a smoother, more successful Secondary school transition. The Program leads into the Bentley's Best Academia Aspire Program for Junior Secondary students the following year.
Interschool Academic Challenge
The annual Interschool Academic Challenge features the top 12 Year 5 students from Bentley Park College and local feeder schools, who compete in Maths, Science, English and Robotics tasks.
Impact Centre
The Impact Centre program is a 12-week critical thinking before-school course for high achieving Year 7 to 10 students offering extension, enrichment and challenges that transfer across learning areas.
Gateways to Industry ICT
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Gateway to Industry Schools project will be run by the Australian Computer Society (ACS), with Bentley Park College being one of the first Queensland schools to be involved.
Gateways to Industry Health
Bentley Park College is the first Gateway to Industry Health School in Queensland. The project aims to develop school students' knowledge and understanding of the varied roles available in the health workforce and improve their access to learning and experiential opportunities in Queensland's growing health sector.
Health Gateway Program
Provides students of all ages with insight, access and connectivity to health-related careers through authentic learning opportunities and quality training.
Virtual Reality
The Virtual Reality (VR) in Education program aims to enrich student learning and engagement through the embedded use of VR aligned to the Australian Curriculum. See our VR Learning and Design Hub page for more information.
Competitions and Enrichment
Selected students have the opportunity to participate in competitions such as the RACI Titration Competition, Readers Cup, Spelling Bees and Lions Youth of the Year, as well as Mathematics enrichment days and Chess Club.
