The
Queensland Government have proudly funded a new $3.975 million Sports Training
Precinct for Bentley Park College, as part of their ‘Go for Gold’ funding in
the lead up to the Brisbane Olympic Games in 2032.
The
Precinct, which will comprise a gym, two change rooms, a meeting room, canteen,
store room and bathroom facilities, is set to be completed by the end of
2025.
The facility will service our Sports Academy, which comprises the Rugby League, Netball and Football Academies and HPE Excellence Program, as well as community groups from the whole south Cairns area.
