2027 New Zealand Ski Tour
The 2027 Bentley Park College New Zealand Ski Tour will be held in the September school holidays for Year 11 and 12 students. The tour will be a great cultural and recreational experience, with many activities planned for the 10 days.
Staff at the College have organised many successful ski tours previously, and students attending these tours have listed them as a highlight of their schooling years. The 2025 NZ Ski Tour was very successful. The tour is booked through a Brisbane-based company, NZ Travel Centre, who have organised all our ski tours in the past. We have found them to be extremely efficient, personal and flexible with our travel itinerary.
The number of teachers who attend the tour depends on the number of students going, but there must be a minimum of one teacher for every 10 students. In 2027, the organising and accompanying staff members with be Mr Adam Nash, Mrs Bianca Markham and Miss Georgia Henson. They have had previous overseas travel, NZ Ski Tour and skiing experience.
We must have at least 20 students confirmed to attend by Friday 31 July 2026 to run the NZ Ski Tour, who must have paid a deposit of $500. A further $2000 should be paid towards the trip by the end of the year, with the balance to be paid by June 2027. The total cost will be approximately $4500, with exact final amount to be confirmed next year.
If your student is interested, they are to collect an information letter from Mr Nash in the PA staffroom. Please readthe information carefully and follow the required steps. There will also be an Information Night in Term 3, with Margie from NZ Travel Centre – date to be confirmed.
